Stemming from Louise’s passion for people is a very real need to support communities in their practical requirements. She uses her jewellery business and motivational speaking to help raise funds for charity. Child abuse is very close to her heart and through her association with Fifth Avenue Collection, proceeds from the sale of a stunning and innovative piece of jewellery go towards the charity “Blow the whistle on child trafficking”. This societal issue has been identified as a very real threat for South Africa during the Soccer World Cup, but unfortunately does not get the attention it deserves. Each year, millions of girls and boys are exploited, either for child labour or sexual abuse — they are raped, enslaved in the global sex trade, or sold and trafficked in a multi-billion dollar industry. Louise’s aim is to highlight this particular abuse within our society and to help raise funds for a very deserving charity.

In organising charity events, Louise has used talk-show type interviews of the various charity managers to help enhance the awareness of the charity and to ensure that the attending group fully understand the value of their support. The advantage of this type of event is that it allows for a comparison of different charity types and approaches.
Louise’s services are not limited to her own fundraising choices. She is willing to use her skills and jewellery business to all charities that approach her for fundraising functions. She focuses more on African charities.
